Terms of Service

Last updated: June 14, 2026

Welcome to Liberation Management Platform (“Liberation,” “we,” “us”). Liberation is a lightweight project-management app for tasks, docs, reviews, analytics and a public showcase. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Liberation is early-stage software offered on an as-is basis. We may change how it works, and we'll update these terms when we do.

1. Your account

You sign in with GitHub, Google, or an email magic link — any method creates your account automatically. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live (and at least 13). Liberation isn't directed at children.

2. Acceptable use

Please don't use Liberation to:

  • break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
  • upload malware, attempt to breach security, or probe, scan or overload the service;
  • send spam, harass others, or post content you don't have the right to share;
  • resell or abuse the service in a way that degrades it for other users.

We may suspend or remove accounts or content that violate these terms, ideally with notice where practical.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into Liberation — projects, tasks, docs, files, and the rest. You grant us only the limited permission needed to host, back up, and display your content so the app works for you and the collaborators you invite. You're responsible for your content and for having the rights to use it.

You can export your data or delete your account at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how that works.

4. Public showcase & tester signups

If you publish a public showcase page, the content you choose to make public can be seen by anyone with the link. When testers sign up through your showcase, you're the one collecting their email address — use it only for the playtest or updates they signed up for, and handle it responsibly.

5. Plans, billing & cancellation

Liberation offers a free tier and paid plans (currently $0 Free, $4 Basic, $8 Pro, and $10 Enterprise per month). Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our payment processor — we don't store your full card details. Plans are billed in advance, are non-refundable except where required by law, and you can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Plan limits (such as project counts) are currently advisory and won't lock you out of existing work. We may change prices or plan features with reasonable notice.

6. Third-party services

Liberation works with services like GitHub, Discord and Slack when you choose to connect them. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we're not responsible for them. Connecting them is optional.

7. Service “as is” & availability

Liberation is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data loss will never occur. Keep your own copies of anything critical (you can export at any time).

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Liberation won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. [Placeholder — counsel should set the liability cap and governing law for your legal entity.]

9. Termination

You can stop using Liberation and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, give notice in the app. Continuing to use Liberation after a change means you accept the updated terms.
